Default 2008 YDRE Solenoid not staying engaged

When I turn on the tow switch it will briefly engage the solenoid and then back off, then when I tun on the key it will turn on the solenoid for a split second. Then if I step on the throttle it will turn on again for a brief second and off. After that will not turn on again,
I check the power going to the solenoid and it battery voltage of 50V and when I do switch on it only shows the ground suppling 13V for a second.
If I hot wire the solenoid the cart will move normal. I check the Stop throttle switch, TPS, dirrection switch, key switch, there is no reverse buzzer, tow switch, and motor. Any suggestions??

May be the controller. It is what grounds the solenoid coil to turn it on.

Go aftermarket. I recommend Alltrax. I have Alltrax controllers on both of my YDRE carts. I have a 2009 and a 2012. You can program everything on it with a laptop. Much better than the very weak Moric stock controller.

scottyb on this forum is a good source. They make a controller that is plug and play with the YDRE carts. scottyb can set you up.
