Well, I'm doing mine black so luckily I found some black primer. I would probably say go with a light color.

ya i think im going to do mine gray cause this is the paint color im going with! we'll find out soon enough lol

Do I use te wax grease remover after the primer is done and sanded before the actually body pain goes on as well? Or just sand the primer and paint?

You will use the wax and grease remover after you have sanded the primer and before you apply the first color coat, Do not use it after that.

Hey for real how do you deal with a previous paint job thats flaking off? I think theres more than one of us who inherited there problem.

Why don't you start a post as "paint flaking off" in this section so maybe we can help others also. The answer is if the paint is flaking off then it must be stripped because the paint you put on is only as good as what is under it. My guess is they didn't use adhesion promoter.
