The process for a fiberglass body is pretty much the same minus the adhesion promoter. You would prep it the same, fill with a little different filler, and then primer, sand and paint the same.
Now if you are fixing cracks or holes in a fiberglass body, you would use a filler that has fiberglass strand in it directly on the prepped body. You can sand that smooth and then go over it with a polyester filler to fill the pin holes and such. After that it is on to the primer.
