Default I need some help with my motor

Okay well heres the deal, i just found this website and was hoping someone could help me out. I currently have my dad's ezgo with a 9hp motor. He is out of town and for a random surprise i thought id fix it for him. We went to glamis back on presidents day with it and while we were there, somehow we managed to break a motor mount, so we havnt been able to drive it.

Anyway, long story short I replaced the mount, cleaned the carb, put new plugs in, check the fuel lines and pump, checked and adjusted the valves, checked to be sure it had spark and checked the compression and the thing will not turn over. When i hit the gas, the belts will spin and it sounds as if it is about to fire up, but just continues to spin the belts.

I am no Golf Cart mechanic, but i do race motocross and i work on all of my bikes so i have a general knowledge of motors. I am just hoping someone can help me out! It has been driving me crazy for the past few days, and hes coming home soon!

Thanks in advance for any advice and sorry for the long post.

Spray it with some brake cleaner or carb. spray in the carb. and see if it picks up.
