solenoid/controller hookup
Before I hookup to the batteries please double check my solenoide to controller wiring.. I had no diagram to go by. I am not sure if the diode is in the correct position and the solenoid to B+ vs solenoid to batt positive is correct. I emailed scotty but no reply yet.

Re: solenoid/controller hookup
That's the way I have mine hooked up, but it's an spm. I'll try to find a wiring diagram to confirm for the axe.

Re: solenoid/controller hookup
The diode looks to be correct.
The main terminals on some solenoids may be marked with + and -, but it is simply a switch and has no polarity. If the cable marked "SOL" on the right-hand main terminal (In picture) goes to B+ on battery pack, it is also wired correctly. The other end of the cable connected to the B- terminal on controller goes to B- on battery pack. (Fuse is optional) |

Re: solenoid/controller hookup
Looks right according to this generic diagram I got off Alltrax's website. Fuse, if you use it, should go on the main pack positive instead of the negative.

Since the + terminal already has a 60A fuse for the wires from the charger receptacle, having it on the - terminal might be a cleaner installation. |
