Pros and cons of lifting a Cart
Well looking at all these nice carts i think i would like to lift my cart with 6inch Jake lift kit that comes with rims and tires trying to see the Pros and Cons of doing this?
Also would like to add a rear seat that folds down to be used to haul stuff to the barn and drag the kids around. Would like to add lights. Maybe some paint stripper pole |

A stripper pole should give you just the right lift

Re: Pros and cons of lifting a Cart
Depends on what you want to use the cart for, but I have the setup your are thinking about and am very happy with the functionallity of it. I have some before and after pics in my album if you want to check it out.
Sorry, not talking about the pole here... |

Re: Pros and cons of lifting a Cart
HEhe, sorry about the highjack. Hope it made you laugh too.
But the lift does improve things like clearance for pulling trailers & hauling more weight (for those bigger dirty skanks). My current EZGo Txt has about 8" of lift with coilover shocks & leaf springs in the rear. For the 4th of July I put together a float on a 4'x8' trailer & loaded it down with 8 dogs, 2 adults & a 2 kids in it. Plus 4 more adults in the cart. It still accelerated & stopped without a problem (also has the Ausco discs). No way my old Marathon would have done that. |

I hear it may hurt your turning radius.
I laughed so hard at this post. That pull behind pole is awesome. Tom |
