Re: model and problem
Joe, I'm a little confused. Are you saying someone was doing a brake stand and then all of the sudden the cart died?

There are several possibilities, but let's start with the basics.
1. Does the starter spin but the engine won't fire? 2. Do you have 12 volts at the solenoid? 3. Check 10 amp fuse in holder on drivers rear fender. Flip seat forward and look for a white(I think) plastic holder. Very common for this fuse to blow and the cart is dead in the water then. Start with those and we will go from there. One other thing to look at is all wiring and connections. This cart is 30 years old and most I have worked on have had broken and corroded wiring. They have quick connects that really seem to like to have poor contact.

Re: model and problem
Glad you are on your way to sort the problem out. Now i will help correctly identify your cart. I can tell by its general body style its a G2 or G9. It can be further identified by some other minor details. I bet yours has a black steering wheel & steering column (G2 is white), a black plastic cupholder (G2 is white & different), black rubber trim at the back edge of the front body, i cant see yours (G2 is aluminum). It also has black paint on the rails of the "rocker panels" (G2 is white paint). I have a G2 & a G9. This pic is my G2, with White paint on the "rocker panels". All minor differences (until you need to order ignition system parts), so lets identify it right. If i have been correct, Yours ought to be a G-9. When you hinge the seat forward, there should be a aluminum tag riveted to the frame, in the motor compartment area, at the "hinge area" base of the seat, in the middle, it should have a number that looks like this, "JG5-######", with no letters in the "#" portion.
