Default Oil Leak on 93 DS

Have developed an oil leak on my 93 DS. Looks like I have isolated it to an area below the starter/generator. I have uploaded a pic to show the area. That isn't my cart but another I had found here on this site. How do I go about fixing this, is it just a plug? Is there a part number I can order or a suitable sub to use? Thanks!!

I read another post and a adjustable rubber freeze plug was recommended. I don't really want to remove the plug thats in there now, what size is the hole? It should work as is will expand when the nut is tightened.

New plug is recommended, I'm not one to recommend a micky mouse repair. Buy the original plug, clean up the area and spray some carb cleaner on the new plug and stick it in.

Should this plug fit tightly in the hole? I'm fixing a 92 right now and this plug was laying in the dash compartment. I put it back in place and while it's secure and won't come out without fair effort, it's not a tight fit, by any means.

Try this:

Clean up the area and the plug real good. Spray the plug with carb cleaner and then insert. Then put silicone over the top of it all. Its not pretty and not what I would want to see, but have seen it work.

Thanks. Am I to take it that it should be air-tight then, or is the silicone just an added preventative to keep oil from splashing out?
