What has to be changed on a G-2 electric to change to 48 volt.Has no solid state controls

LOTS of stuff. First you will need 48 volts worth of batteries and a charger. Without those....well, it just wouldn't be 48 volts. You'll need a solenoid capable of 48 volts too. I am not sure whether the resistors will handle the extra current. If they don't there is no upgrade for it.

Shouldn't cost more than $1000 for the stuff if you shop around. Batteries aren't cheap and neither are chargers.
