The charging current needs to be sensed by the OBC, the negative charging cable should be connected to Controller B-, or other convenient point on that side of the OBC that is also connected to B-.
I discussed this with the experts in the OBC Bypassing Sticky. At the time I was asking about a DPI Charger, which I decided not to mount on board. I ended up buying a used original Summit and installed in this manner, works great. |
