1996 DS broken cast ring on motor
While trying to remove the stick motor on my 96 DS tonight I broke off the cast aluminum tab the for the lower bolt mount. This is on the cast ring that the motor is mounted too.
When i pulled up the parts list for the card it shows it listed as a "Shield, end" with part number 1017944. I've searched for a bit but I'm unable to locate this part. Anyone have some guidance here? Does this ring seperate from the motor? Is there a new part number? |

Re: 1996 DS borken cast ring on motor
The ring does come off, but That motor hasn’t been produced in probably more than 15 years.
The only place you’ll find that is somebody has one used, or a cart shop might have one on a take-off motor from an old cart that got upgraded. Might check with David at Revolution Golf Cars. He does tons of Club Car upgrades and might have one somewhere in his stash. Also could try a Post in the classifieds here. |
