Default What did I kill?

Was finishing up installing an onboard charger after swapping to lithium. Charger was going, I flipped the run/tow switch to run and heard a pop. Now cart doesn’t move. Any ideas what I destroyed?

Looks like from your other posts that you have a Precedent...What year......Sounds like you blew the 15a fuse near the controller...If so, something is wired wrong...

There is a 15 amp fuse near the controller in a fuse holder...Check that first.....

Does your cart still have the on board computer connected?

The on board computer cannot be used with any charger other than the original charger. The on board computer also keeps the cart from running while charging.

I'm not sure about what kind of voltage feedbacks you may have encountered and what damage may have been done.

Wait for someone more knowledgeable to respond to this issue. But the on board computer needs to be bypassed. Check the stickies for bypassing on board computer for better explanations.

My charger connects directly to the battery. It’s the extreme team set up.

Did you test the cart with the new batteries before you installed the charger?
