Confused-Upgrade Controller EZGO RXV 2017 48V
Hello, I am new to owning a EZGO golf cart. I have an electric 2017 48V EZGO RXV. I believe that the Controller is a Curtis, took pics. In upgrading the Controller, would you please advise, should it be the same, if it is a Curtis? I have read many forums before sending, it appears the discussions favor Curtis over Navatis for EZGO RXV 48v. Including photo. Thank You.

You should have the Curtis if it is stock. That controller can really be turned up with the correct equipment. Where are you located?

kgsc...in regrd to the Curtis controller. You mentioned with the right eqp this controller could be turned up...how and where would I do that? S Fla. area. Thank you!

The cart is not lifted, there are 14 inch tires on it.

The controller is just under that plastic cover. Look on the label and see what revision it is or take a picture and post it here.

Navitas is far superior.
You can program it yourself right on a WiFi smartphone app, on the fly even. It gives you full instrumentation. You can easily and quickly enter any top speed limit you want, so the cart is safe for others to drive, or you can disable it when security is an issue. Navitas has great and fast tech support. The Curtis offers none of this. It’s often claimed that the Curtis outperforms the Navitas, ill believe that when someone does a legit side by side. My cart is faster than the Navitas detractors claim. You can adjust your regen braking, acceleration rate, and all sorts of things, all super easy, at any time. I’m a big fan, I fail to see why anyone wouldn’t want this. |
