Not up to speed on resistance values of the MCOR, I'd have to look that up. One of the microswitches on top , I believe the outside, but not certain, is what sends a signal to the controller to reduce speed in reverse. There will be a black and a white wire plugged to it, plus another. If that setup is working, then that's what slows reverse. With the handle in the reverse position. You may be getting proper readings from the MCOR, but you'll need to correct the FW switch to see how it performs.
