Default Marathon 1/2 speed reverse and buzzer question...

I have a 1993 Marathon cart. If I want to eliminate both the 1/2 speed reverse feature AND the reverse beeper, can I just disconnect all the leads going to old stacked double microswitch in the F/R control?
Thanks!

To do what you want, you need to do 2 things. #1 - disconnect the black wire off of the reverse buzzer, and #2 - disconnect the BLUE wire from the MS-3 micro-switch that goes to the controller. then your buzzer will not go off, and you will have full speed in both directions.

Thanks Sir Nuke, unhooking the black wire from the beeper worked but unhooking the blue wire to the controller did not.
However, unhooking the white wire from the other side of the double MS-4 did kill the reverse half speed resistor (which I guess is buried in the accelerator mechanism somewhere). So, I'm where I wanted to be thanks.
