Is this Advanced motor toast?
Bought a used cart that has been nothing but trouble. After welding and repairing the frame, it was running fine then just stopped. Smelled burning, opened up the motor to find this.
Is it trashed if a ribbon is that damaged or can it be salvaged? Don't want to drop any more money into this pit. |

It sure looks like it's ready for burial. By the time you spend the money to repair it you will be better off replacing it with an upgraded motor you will be happier with.
