G9 carb mods
Morning everyone, I have a question about my Yamaha G9.I would like to know who had put on a NIBBI Racing Performance Carburetor 24mm GY6 100CC Carburetor PE24mm or something similar. Just looking for a better carb than the $19 replacement And maybe a better exhaust.

I have wondered IF the Ruxin style carb used on the chinese clone would work ? They are certainly cheap enough and all kinds of tuning options exist. Again even though they are cheap they all seem very reliable. I have nothing left from my G 14 engine to see how difficult the adaptation would be.

I'd probably go with a Genuine Mikuni. I've used a couple of the GY6 carbs and they aren't very good comparitively. Money well spent on a Mikuni.
