Default EZGO Marathon 36v

Hey so I think I either need a new speed controller or I wired the new solenoid wrong. When the key is in one position the cart works perfectly but when I turn the switch in the opposite position the cart just takes off without anyone pressing the accelerator which means I can't turn the cart off unless I disconnect the batteries.

I followed the wiring diagram I found online for this cart. But whoever had the cart before me had the solenoid wire in reverse to what is shown on the diagram, so I tried that and the cart key switch works exactly as intended and the cart only moves when the key is on and you press the foot pedal, the only issue is that the cart only runs for a few seconds then shuts off and eventually wont run at all unless I switch it back to the way I had it wired before as the diagram shows. Maybe I am doing something wrong. PLEASE HELP

What type of controller do you currently have. I had to rewire my 88 Marathon when I rebuilt it. I wasn't able to find one specific diagram online that worked. I had to piece things together.

I am currently in the process of rewiring my 88, and you are correct there are ZERO wiring diagrams online that work for the Forward and reverse microswitches...Did you get yours to work and is there any chance you have pictures?
