Default 2004 TXT controller upgrade for lithium

I converted our 2004 TXT 36v to lithium and encountered the problem with triggering the BMS.
We adjusted to starting slow and easing into full acceleration. But when the cart is under a load, like going uphill or loaded with folks, it begins to shudder, then won’t go at all.
I was wondering if there are controller and solenoid upgrade options that will solve these issues or do I just go back to regular batteries.
My lithiums are 12v 100AH with 100 amp BMS.
The controller and solenoid are the stock ones.
Any suggestions on solving this would be greatly appreciated. Getting frustrating.

You need more than 100 amps for a 36V cart to operate properly. Peak current is going to be more like 300 amps.

:)

Which means those batteries if in series and trigger at 100A will always shut down. You will need a 3s2p setup of those batteries to even get to 200A constant and possibly to the peek of 300A for 60s.

So you will need 6 batteries to make it up the hill.
