shocks for a 3-wheeler
I have a customer that has an old EZGO 3-wheeler that he is restoring.
Model # -- X440-4GE S/N # -- 744X1340 MFG # -- 474-1442E I am trying to locate frt shock for this cart. Rear shocks are not an issue. Nievel has them. Frt shock part number is 12381G1, Rear is 13270G1. I was wondering if the rear shocks would work in the frt. the rear's are about 1/2 longer. I am wondering if the rear shocks will bottom out if he put them on the frt. I am hoping someone on here has more experience on this style cart than me. Any help will be greartly appreicated. |

Re: shocks for a 3-wheeler
On my 3 wheeler I used mini-bike shocks with the spring on them for the front wheel. i got them at Northern tool Co. They were about $30.00 for the pair. they were a close fit with just a little effort.

Re: shocks for a 3-wheeler
I will let you know. Thanks. I am not sure how this customer is going about restoring his cart. I will give him a call and get back with you.
These are the ones w/o the coil over spring correct? His cart is an older one with the spring mounted above the tire and just regular shock. He is thinking its a 74 model. |

Re: shocks for a 3-wheeler
Let's hear if you found a good resource for a replacement shock? The best price I found for a stock replacement was $75 each. I would like to know if there is a less expensive one off a car, ini bike, whatever. I have a 86 Marathon 3-wheeler.
