89 2 stroke
I just did the top end on this cart and crank seals and it ran a bit but could'nt get any rpm out of it. it seems to be flooding bad so I lowered the float level so it was closing sooner but is still flooding. I was wondering if fuel could get in the crank case through the fuel pump.

Re: 89 2 stroke
I really don't know , I have an 89 but am running a remote pump , I drilled a bolt out in my press that fit the threaded hole that ran the mounted pump, put a jam nut on it to hold it tight and moved the pump to the side wall between tank and engine , used one off of a v twin briggs and stratton mower , works fine .

Yep! the fuel pump was pumping fuel into the crankcase and the carb loading it up big time. Put another one on and she runs like a dream!
