Re: Which cart should I pick for my build?
Awesome. That's a good idea and I guess that's what will eventually happen with mine. I may try to part out most of the sepex stuff and batteries since they are new and in good shape to offset the cost of my new parts and conversion. The body appears to be in good shape and since it's from an individual and not a course it may have little wear compared to the other one I'm looking at tomorrow. One thing I may keep are the rims......man they look sweet. I just hope they aren't to small for the new setup and not to expensive to have powder coated black. If so I'll just trade or sell them too.

You don't have to go 48vdown right away alot of the aftermarket controllers are good for 36&48 volt.

Re: Which cart should I pick for my build?
Well Kidder we will see how tomorrow turns out but I may be the proud owner of a 2002 Club Car that is already 48V and he is going to put brand new 8 Volt batteries in it. Crossing my fingers. Frame looked good and there wasn't really any rust or beat up body parts. The top was sagging a bit but it does have a flip flop rear seat with a grab bar and some off-road lights. Will make a good starter cart to build on if it runs good tomorrow with the new batts. Anything I should look out for?

Re: Which cart should I pick for my build?
Just give it a good look over. Check cables, which they would be the first thing I would upgrade. They are aluminum frame so no rust issues. Check the battery trays though as the battery acid will eat the aluminum.

Re: Which cart should I pick for my build?
That's exactly what I have and have not had any problems with it. TXT is the model, some have the series drive system (shifter by your leg) and others have the PDS drive system (switch on the dash). Most people here will tell you not to buy a PDS if you want an off road buggy, but mine does the job, I did replace the stock controller, which is the "weak link" on the PDS carts.
