You an change the springs with stiffer ones. This is a link for springs that you can consider. http://pitstopusa.com/search-3.html?...0coil%20spring They are 2 1/2 in. inside diameter but I do not remember the pound rating of the stock spring. I have it somewhere but can't put my finger on it right now. Just a thought.

You can do something like this, you would have to measure your old spring http://www.ebay.com/itm/Eibach-Coil-...item5891a34cc0 I did this on my 88,I think I used 475lb and it works great!

I found by accident, that the late 70's 3-wheel gas Marathons had a heavier coil in the rear.I put them in mine and it beefed it up quite a bit.You can also install a spacer, which will raise the rear a little without adding stiffness. Also using automotive gas-shocks will firm it up a bit(not for load capacity, but it will tighten the cart up noticeably)Monroe 32207 works with a 4-5" lift.Hope this helps.

Good info everyone.

It rides good, it's a little stiff but I always have 4-5 on the cart so it works out fine.

Really I could do without the coil-overs, but I bought them before I scored the springs. MY old shocks were waaay to wasted to reuse.

Hey amcjeep, just curious and interested, do you have model # and or product # for your coil over shocks off of an ATV. This is exactly what I need for my 87. Who makes them?
Thanks, Tim
