No luck yet. The screws that hold the cover on are giving me trouble. I sprayed them with deep creep but they still won't budge. Gonna try some heat when I get a chance. I'll post here when I get the cover off. Still may need some expert guidance.

Well it's been a little bit but I got back to work on my cart today. I got the clutch cover off and it had a good bit of grease about 3/4 around the inside of it.




I'm not sure how much the clutch should move by hand but it only moves about 1/2 in when I pull on it. One other thing I noticed is the cover has a small dent in it.


Do I need to remove the clutch from the shaft to fully inspect it?

Just a bit more info. I ran the cart today and it came in between 15- 18 mph .

What size tires do you have on the cart? With 22s on my G9 and the govenor bye passed it will do 25-27 on the pavement.

Mine just has stock size tires . I have heard that it should be doing better than 15 with the governor bypassed. I think I'm going to replace the spring in the clutch and see if it is any better. It's kind if slow on take off.
