Question to transform or not 1985 36v ezgo

I have a1985 36 volt ezgo. Trying to decide if it's worth converting into a hill climbing hunting cart or should I look for something newer. Looking for advice. Thanks

IMHO... updating it to a "hill climbing hunting buggie" would not be cost effective

Yeah that's what I've been trying to figure out. To do the conversion to solid state and replacing motor I think it will cost around 1500.00 or so. I paid 900.00 for the cart. It already has bigger tires and wheels and a lift on it. But if I buy a newer cart for say 2500. Or so, I figure I'm still going to have to update that as well. I don't won't to have 5000. Or 6000. In a golf cart.
