Default My helper

Not the best of pictures, but here is my 9 year old helper in his element. He loves helping me process deer. He's been helping for 5 years now and getting quite good at skinning and boning them. We did 4 last weekend. Got 171 pounds of burger and 10 pounds or so of tenderloin and backstrap we didn't grind.
He's also a skilled sausage maker which makes me happy.

Sorry. Can't make the picture stand up right.

Always great to see the younger generation taking interest in actual practical skills!

raising him right. Skills that too few are learning these days. Both my boys can field dress but one is not really that into it and is more into fishing... the other dives right in.
