Just clicks when I try to start it!

Hello, I have a 91 EZ-GO was running great then it started to lurch when I pushed gas peddle but would eventually go. Now it just makes a clicking sound when i push the gas peddle. I charged the battery and tried it but just does the same. Could it be bad contact on the battery or sulenoid? Does the sulenoid act like that when it quits? If I want to replace the selenoid what kind and where can I get one and what is the cost? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jan

Is this a gas cart? Maybe a bad starter or worn brushes

check the battery first and make sure it is fully charged. if not you may actually have a bad voltage regulator. move to the solenoid next as the culprit and make sure you order the correct one from a sponsor. a regular auto solenoid will not work.
