??? about ride comfort......
What gives you the most comfortable ride in a cart... having it lifted or doing a drop with shocks on it?? I use my cart mostly for playing Golf (yeah I know a 4 letter word) and was wondering what the oppinions were on which set up gives you the most comfort. or maybe just leaving it stock ? I looked around but didn't really find any info on it... Thanks folks |

Re: ??? about ride comfort......
Try lettng some air out of the tires first. Just a few pounds. Less air in the tires will give a softer ride.

Most lift kits don't do anything for the ride, good or bad.

Yes air pressure plays a very important part in ride, as well as the tires that are on it. You can put a 2 ply on instead of 4 ply and get slightly better ride.

Re: ??? about ride comfort......
Most long travel lift kits will give you what you're looking for. It will change the ride quality dramatically.
I have the front long travel on and it made a huge differance. I'm still working on the rear. Scotty changed his entire set up. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/lifte...workhorse.html Now, no one is saying you have to go this elaborate. Jakes sells what you would be looking for You might want to check with your course as to what type of tires would be ok with the lift. Good luck and keep us posted. |

Thanks for the info on the long travel kit, I might give it a try if the lower tire pressure doesn't work.. Do you think that since the cart is 13 years old and was a fleet cart that if I put new stock shocks and stuff on it that it might do that trick??? |
