![]() I have an 86 Gas Club Car. It has been completely rebuilt top and bottom. (w/ exception of starter/generator) When I press the gas sumtimes it turns over right away, other times nothing happens. Sometimes you press it half way and it turns over. There is a delay or hesitation when it starts. Any thoughts? Thanks.

![]() Mine was doing the same thing last year(seemed to get worse as engine was warm). So in the winter I pulled S/G and cleaned up the armature & replaced the brushes, they wern't completely worn out, but close. I also replaced the battery as it was on it's way out. And it works great so far this year. BTW my cart is the same year as yours.
