Question How fast?

I have a 98 cc carryall 1. I put a 13 hp clone in it. I have to run the tranny in reverse due to the direction of the shaft on the engine turning counter clockwise. How fast do you guys think it will go? And, should I look into changing gears in rear end?

How fast? There is no way to tell away from the cart. Try a GPS or have someone along side you in a car at the same speed to tell you how fast they are going.

Gears in the rear end? Thats not going to solve the problem, but it might help speed it up a little.

Doolin, can you have someone drive along side of the cart and tell us how fast or slow it goes?
Do you have stock tires on it? How easily did the motor fit?

You might find this interesting...I have yet to do this project so I'm interested in what you learn.....

Scottyb, it was pretty straight forward on the install. I think I moved the new engine up about 2" I will keep you posted on this one. Still learning myself.

Greengobblin, Your buddy's cart drives from the right or left side of cart? Or are you saying it was a clockwise engine and you put in a counterclockwise?
