Help! Ezgo wont go!

First of all I want to say thank you for all the helpful post on this site. My ezgo txt just died on me the other day. Came home and have been trouble shooting ever since. Been reading lots of post on here about what to check and how. I have power all the way back to the motor but it wont move. Today I took the hup off and the axle is not spinning. My question is, is my motor shot and is there away to test it to see if its bad or not. Its a plum quick motor is that helps.

so the egine runs but the cart does not move?

Thats what I am looking to test. When I hit the gas I have 38 volts at the motor. But it wont move.

i would say if you have power to your motor and your axle spins freely by hand it would be the motor. i'm not a sparky but i am a mechanic and know how things are suppose to work.

DC electric vehicles do always act like we think they should.

So far nothing you posted makes me think You have a motor problem. Does the solenoid click when you try to go?

Just replaced the solenoid because I thought was the problem. It clicks when you put it in forward or reverse. Cant remember if it did when I hit the gas but i dont think it did. The light on my controler goes from green to orange when I hit the gas. Its an alltrack programmable controler. Could it be bad?

it should click when you hit the gas, i hade a problem before with the shifter. it was kind of doin the same thing yours is and someone said to spray wd40 on the comections behind the lever and work the lever back and forth and it worked.

Its a plum quick motor.

My shifter is a switch on the dash. Pretty sure its good. Clicks when i push it both ways.
