LED headlight illuminates with brake pedal

Not sure exactly what they're talking about.... Sounds like they're explaining how to hook up a light kit. The light kit is hooked up correctly. Everything works, but the headlight glows when the brakes are applied. Otherwise, everything is perfect.

i was puttin on a light kit last month from madjax and remember reading this
thought the thing about the brake lights might help

I found the issue to be in the tail lights. I unplugged them and the problem went away. However, I tried 3 other sets of taillights with the same results. One pair were an OEM set of lights. No change. I ended up mounting a 12 volt relay behind the front bumper. I tied into the blue wire that feeds power to the LED and spliced it into the relay coil and to the COM post. I then ran a wire from the NO post to the light. I grounded the relay coil to 12V ground via the voltage reducer. Problem solved.
