I considered that. Sometimes, doing a quick fix is opening a can of worms. I don't want to put in rings this year, and have another repair next year. My cart has to 'just work' every single time.

I think I'm talking myself into a new cart!

I am using a Walker 22229 on my 390 clone. With a tailpipe, the exhaust is at least as quiet as stock, maybe even quieter. Now the engine on the other hand . . .
