Default Club car ds 02 Seat Template

Does anyone here have a seat template for an 02 CC DS? Long story short mine has been fitted with all 02 parts apart from the front bench seat. When i ordered my seat covers from uptopar i ordered 02 covers but the bench covers will not fit on the older style pre 2000 benches. Parts here in Australia are very hard to find so it looks like i will have to manufacture my own bench but am unsure about the measurements. Any help would be great.

Which roof support do you have? Old or new style?

You are talking about the seat back(s) right?

Are you talking about the front seat base? The newer style base uses the plastic bolt on handles, where the older style had the tube frame that went all the way around the seat base. Because of that the older style seat is a rectangle with the corners rounded off, while the newer style has what amounts to cut outs in each end to accommodate the plastic handles. If that's what you've got the newer style base is slightly too deep (front to rear) to fit inside the tube frames arrangement. It also would leave empty, ugly holes between the body and the seat along each side. But with a little creativity the newer style seat covers can be made to fit the older style seat base, I've done it. If your base wood is still OK, just use that.

OK. I think I understand now. You have all new style EXCEPT for the seat bottom.
You want to build a new style seat bottom from scratch to accommodate the new style seat cover.

A couple things. These seats are not rocket science and I'm not questioning your ability. But, these seats are way more complicated than what meets the eye. I have built/reconstructed both styles and built custom seats from scratch for aftermarket DS bodies.

You are way better off getting a cover to fit the seat than building a seat to fit the cover. The dimensions are critical and leave little to no room for error, even with an entire seat to follow for a pattern. Just my opinion and trying to help.
