My 1982 Yamaha G1 project pictures...Thanks for all the advice BGW members
So it's been awhile due to some family health issues, but I finally have my cart almost finished up. I wanted to share some pictures since a lot of you had a small part of in this build by sharing your knowledge. I knew nothing when I joined this forum but with everyone's advice and help I was able to create this awesome cart. So here we go....
1982 Yamaha G1 - non running when I got it - replaced crank seals - cleaned carb and new fuel filter - new spark plug - cleaned/greased all electrical contacts - replaced bad starter (did test in stickies) At this point it started and runs great...so then I started with upgrades... - new belt - cut secondary sheave from CPP - Red Hawk torque spring - new primary spring - primary spring spacers to control takeoff - Jake's 6" lift with 2" custom block lift - 400 EX front shocks on all 4 corners - 22" x 11" on 8" rims - custom front and rear bumpers - custom rear seats - added tach, usb charge port, 12v charge port, volt meter - new head lights, tail lights, back up lights - led hologram projector glow lights - custom 2" aluminum wheel spacers Here's a few before and after pics |
