Default 1991 club car DS has no speed.

Engine seems to run fine and starts great but has no speed. I jacked up the rear end and took a video of the clutches. They don’t seem to be engaging properly. Where should i start reading to troubleshoot this? Any direction?

Cart jacked up and pedal to the floor. Oh and it’s a new belt.

Your front clutch seems to be moving but your rear clutch is not...but is that all the higher the motor will rev? The motor might not be revving high enough to really activate those clutches. Try disconnecting that long governor rod that runs from the transaxle to the carburetor and see if that helps things. If it does, see if the actuator on the transaxle is frozen. If it isn't frozen, you should be able to adjust the governor rod a bit and get more speed out of it. I don't recommend running the motor without the governor unless you have a good feel for the limitations of the motor. Without the governor it's easy to over-rev the motor...and the motor can be damaged in a matter of hours if pushed too far.

Check this thread. Just had a member across the pond with a similar issue:

Here's a video of my cart and what the clutches should look like when they're working properly:

that looks more likely not enough revs to pull the drive clutch in to me. i dont know the gas club cars too well, but it does sound kinda slow. Is it actually running or just spinning on the starter

Can you rev the motor higher by actuating the carb linkage by hand? Maybe your pedal linkage/cables are shot.
