Default G19 motor question

What is the difference between the G19 and G22 motors? I've seen motors that day they fit both, and some that say one or the other. FSIP has a G22 motor, and I have a wholesale account with them, but they say it doesn't work on the G19. I hate to pay retail if this one will bolt up. This cart already has a 400 amp XCT Alltrax, so all I need is for it to bolt up. I don't mess with many of these Yamaha carts, so any insight it's appreciated.

The G19 motor and the G22 motor is the same (for me!) but I’ve seen a lot of odd balls. The G22 and G29 motor are not the same. I’m not sure if the speed sensor connection is the same or not.

Are they the same spline count and bolt pattern? The one that's on it is a GE I think. I can turn off the speed sensor in the Alltrax if I have to, but I think it would work

G19 and G22 were available with GE motor. G22 also used Advanced motors, and Hitachi motors. Ydre used Hitachi motors. All 3 brand motors used different tach sensors. All used 19 spline couplers and same bolt pattern.

So, the FSIP G22 motor should work with the Alltrax correct? Worst case scenario I could disable the speed sensor like the older Alltrax.

But the 19 spline coupler on the G29 is larger than that of the G22. Believe me...

I'm wanting to use the G22 on a G19, so I don't think that will matter.

I cant count how many other sepex (and series ) motors I have put on Ydre with no "different size spline" problem. So I believe me.

Ok. Then I had a strange G22. Wait- three of them! I guess they’re never all the same. To the OP, your motor should work [emoji1303]
