Fuse Instant Burn Out Headlights
I have a modified club car precedent with an LED light bar kit.
The fuse for the lights burnt out and instantly burns out when I replace it with a new one. I can't really get a good look at the full harness without dismantling the cart as it is modified to have 6 seats - everything is buttoned up really tight. Is something I can try before I take the whole cart apart to get a look at the harness? |

Re: Fuse Instant Burn Out Headlights
Try disconnecting the lightbar. If the fuse doesn't blow replace the light bar. Another guess would be the 48v to 12v converter. Try disconnecting the outputs one at a time. Hopefully there is a fuse panel where you can do that.

Re: Fuse Instant Burn Out Headlights
I used a inductive DC ammeter to trace the amperage spike. Connect jumper leads to to make the connection. Lay the meter on the wire harness and very quickly tap the leads together to cause the spike. Work your way until the spike disappears, thats where it is grounded.
