1996 club car DS controller replacement...What model is this?
Picked up 96 club car DS last week.. threw some new batteries and boogied on down the road.. apparently one of the wires was loose on the controller.. I heard some popping sounds and smelled the burn and the cart stopped moving... after removing the controller I can look inside and see some black burn on the board . I'm trying to figure out what controller this is? I can't seem to find anything other than the serial number that is on the sticker and that is the only identifying marks on the controller.. can't seem to find anything online when I put those numbers in... also the cart was going 23 to 25 mph with the new batteries so I'm not sure if it was a stock or upgraded motor/controller

Looks like a 400 amp Curtis or FSIP series controller. Not sure about the motor.

Not necessarily. That cart was available in a couple different layouts but it is definitely series.
