Precident ??
I,m looking to buy a cart. had a 09 precident years ago with an excel system. Not sure if I remember correctly. Wanted to upgrade power and torque but would have to change out harness and was limited to what I could do. Don't want to make same mistake. Is it possible now to upgrade a newer cart easier than it was 10 years ago? Just don't know what to look out for. Thanks

Re: Precident ??
Depending on personal body style preference, look for a cart with a serial number starting with AQ, which is a 48 volt, 2002 and up DS model, or a serial number starting with PQ, which is a 48 volt Precedent. These are already IQ or Excel carts that can be easily upgraded when the desire comes for it.
In the Precedent model, it is favorable to find one with 6-8 volt batteries over ones with 4-12 volt batteries. If the harness replacement is needed, it is a fairly simple installation. |
