Ask the seller to give the Manufacture # from the ID tag in or below the glove box.... post it here ... We can tell the year from the Manufature Number

Ok Guys I got it now tell me what I have...

Serial 70629 T33307
This is the only Number on the plate.

Has single front leaf Spring. I will get pictures up later.

I got it late tonight it does run, but you have to choke it every time to get it going then when she goes she goes quickly. There is no feathering the throttle. It dies when you let off. I am sure the carb needs cleaning among other things. Key switch is not in service.

Just a guess but i'd say it's a mid 70s (maybe 77) model 444. maybe roady knows how to decipher those numbers.

I know this I am not letting off just letting up...not even half throttle maybe 3/4 and it dies. It is full throttle or nothing.

Soundds like a cable out of adjustment, or your micro switch is out of wack turning off and on to soon. check out this thread about the same kinda problem, it might help some
