Default suspension & shocks for 1980 club car

Working on the brakes so I thought I would replace the leaf springs and shocks while everything is apart. I was wanting to put a 4 leaf spring as a replacement. Will this work? 3 leaf spring is 25 inches between holes. I would like to also replace the shocks. Any suggestions? I use this on the farm to haul hay, so I wanted to beef up the rear end, it is not a lifted car.

With that old a cart finding a direct replacement multi leaf spring will be hard to find? I would measure existing spring width and length and go to auto parts store or better yet a spring shop and get ( additional leafs ) that you can stack onto existing main leaf to give you the lift and strength you need. You would need to get longer "U" bolts, longer center bolt and get clamps to hold leafs from twisting. Each leaf should be progresively shorter so you get no binding. If you can find a spring shop they could also re-arch your existing leaf for better lift and weight holding.
Shock are simple to find by removing existing shock and measure shock from end to end, first when fully extended, then fully retracted, this measurement along with how shocks are mounted on each end, then they can be cross referenced to auto type shock of similiar diameter and travel. ( Example shock ends "looped ends" "male threaded ends" or "combo of both types", shock extended 25", shock retracted 20" so total travel is 5". )
