The funny thing about the Bud Light is that I can pull my chair up and sit in front of the cart and just stare at it while drinking that Bud Light and you would not believe the bright ideas I come up with.

I will have to admit I need to start writing those ideas down because I can never remember them the next morning and if I do remember them they don't seem so bright the next morning.

How hard was it to tear down? Any tricks you learned or shortcuts that would help someone about to do the same?

All pretty simple - Comes apart pretty quick - You will have to drill out some rivets, remove some screws, and she will fall apart.

Just a fast FYI, you may want to be especially careful with certain parts as you disassemble the cart, 88's were an oddball "one-off" year for the Marathons and many of the proprietary 88 parts just aren't around anymore (and some are a real *btch* to find used in decent shape) ... TRUST ME on this one :)

Pay attention to the headpipe and muffler, front springs, front suspension parts you plan on reusing, carb, intake, and well, it's been a couple of years since I rebuilt MY 88 but as I remember the oddball stuff I'll keep throwing it up here ... Have fun w the cart!
