'99 G19 Charger
I recently purchased a used G19 w/o batteries. Put in new batteries and when I plugged in the charger...after about 5 minutes it began smoking so I unplugged it. Any thoughts??

If it's a Lester , your heatshink just died. It's a easy fix.

Re: '99 G19 Charger
Unfortunately not a Lester...it's original Yamaha equipment. I did however find the relay somewhat melted and have ordered a new one. We'll see how that works out.
