FNG; newby question on front clutch
I bought the torque/power kit with the kevlar belt, orange rear spring & red front. I tried to pull the front clutch off & couldn't get it off.
Question; Can I replace the spring without removing the clutch? Can i just pop that bell shaped cover off & pop in the new spring? If not, fill the bolt hole with grease & tighten the center bolt to see if the clutch pops off? Q2: I got the rear apart & put the new spring in the #3 hole (for big loads), cranked the SOB 1/3 around as instructed. put the belt on and it isn't the magical results I'd oped for. The two rotating parts on the clutch do NOT seem that tight, easy to turn even after adjusting the spring twice. Is this a problem or me not having the new front spring in yet the bigger issue with lack of torque? Danke' |
