Default My marathon project pics

I got the old girl a couple of months ago. Believe it or not she was on her way to the scrap yard, when my wife said "are you serious"? "I'll take it, I know a guy". Anyway it's a long story but here's a couple of progress pics.

I like the flares, and the covers over the switches and stereo.

I'm eyeballing those flares too. We painted our carts the same color red.

Thee fender flares are commercial base board trim. The shield or cover going over the dash is the same material. The enclosures over the switches and stereo are marine stereo enclosures. I hope this helps, I'll be glad to answer questions. The paint is original actually. I plan to paint once the weather breaks. It will just be done with rattle cans, but I've gotten pretty good at that over the years. I think I may do flat black. I like the "blacked out" look. I don't plan on putting a lot of body work into it because it is a well used cart around I the house and woods. I don't want to be upset over every scratch and ding. Let me know if I can help.
