Default EZ-GO Driven clutch taken apart, rough, but worth repairing?

Here is some pictures I just took of my driven clutch I took apart. I had a terrible vibration/noise coming from rear end after I bought this cart (weird how it didnt make that noise when i test drove it, but luckily i got it cheap). And I found out exactly why I was hearing/feeling all of this now after getting into it. Now, I do realize this thing is in BAD shape. The plastic ramp button retaining bolts apparently sheared off a long time ago, letting the cam ramps move into the larger sheave grooves, and the plastic shoes also found a resting place there. So, metal was on metal for who knows how long, and I now have 3 smashed ramp buttons, and worn ramps on both the sheave and especially the cam. My question is, is it possible or worth the trouble to try to drill and tap out new holes where the bolts are still inside, put new ramp buttons in, and put it back together and see how it does, or, are the ramps way to worn and/or is it not a good idea to drill and tap new holes in this sheave. The ramps look to have their overall shape intact, but maybe just biting the 200 dollar bullet on a new clutch is what really needs to be done, thanks guys

The clutch I threw away was in alot better shape than that one. I would certainly buy a new clutch.

Thats the conclusion Im beginning to draw as well. This thing is pretty far gone. I am finding out the previous owner did zero maintenance on this thing....everything is barely intact

If it was a mild rubbing of metal to metal you could do a rebuild with a new ramp and buttons but it looks from pics that it is way gone. You would be very happy to have a new one rather that try to save a few bucks with a rebuild and find it is not up to snuff.

Yea Ive got a 28 degree and belt on order right now. Now I just hope my motor that I pulled can go back in without too many snags and get up and running again in the meantime while i wait on the new clutch to come in
