Doing a wheelie?
I have a steep hill at my camp. I was talking to a buddy and he said, that thing won't do a wheelie with people on the back will it?? I said I am not sure. Anyone drive a 4 seater up a steep hill with passengers??

All carts are different, I suggest you try it and see what happens

Re: Doing a wheelie?
At our campground there are several steep hills. One of them is steep enough that some lifted carts have tipped backwards, so people have learned to be cautious. The only actual roll overs I'm aware of happened because people were screwing round and trying to see how far they could make it tip. Well, they found out!

Re: Doing a wheelie?
Rear seating is strictly an aftermarket product and is not engineered into the original design or safe function of the cart. The seats themselves weigh about 100 pounds. 2 adult passengers may weight another 400 pounds. That is 500 pounds added weight (50% additional weight) all behind the rear axles.
Have fun and be careful out there |

My suggestion is to be careful on hills, especially with passengers on the rear. The factory rear seats have a vertical handhold built into the rear of the footrest assembly. People can get hurt if it tips over rearward. |

Re: Doing a wheelie?
My lifted ez go battery will darn near pull a wheelie off the line on flat pavement. As far as I know, it's got a stock motor etc. I guarantee if I put a couple guys on the back and was on an uphill incline it would lift the front end.

Re: Doing a wheelie?
I have gone up some pretty steep hills with an adult on the back. I did not have any issues if I didn't stop.
The one time I had an issue was when i stopped (by gravity and weak batteries) and started backing back down the hill. I was backing down, then stopped and front end came off the ground. I won't do that again with people on the back. |
