Workaholics are Interstates...

Aflyer, thanks for the ideas, I like them!

Would be cool to redo it in like a vintage 57' chevy turquoise or something neat. My question is what are "workaholic" brand batteries?
You got me thinking now. About 40 carts leaking a little brake fluid all over a golf course would be a superintendent/greenskeeper nightmare!

I would say the parking brake IS cable operated as just like an automobile, it mechanically "sets" the shoes.
But I cannot say I know for a fact as I only know of one and the work I did on that was electric related only.

Parking brake is cable operated.

The brakes can be fixed. The problem was the brake fluid really needed to be changed on a regular basis as it absorbed water. No golf course ever did that. The shaft that holds the pedals would seize up also, but that too can be fixed.
Cart looks clean. 700 seems steep. But price is whatever someone will pay

Yeah I'd hope to get it for a little cheaper. Especially since the guy says batteries are getting weak. I probably wouldn't want to pay more than a couple hundred if it needed batts...

That is a clean cart. I have two and I'm in the slow process of doing 1 over in between other carts. All brake parts are available but not cheap. You can find them at times on eBay. The original nameplates were on mine and someone painted over them so when I soaked and removed the paint they came up like new. One has stock headlights and one does not.

You can find and download owner and parts manual on line.

There was a member on here that put a Caroche body on a DS frame. That way he had the look of the Caroche but the modern amenities of the DS. That would be cool to do...
