Default v glide to 5k potentiometer

want to dump my v glide 92 cc can i just buy 5 k potentiometer

and mount inside v glide case? or do i need whole potbox

cc has curtis 1201 controller......

The answer depends upon your skills. I have not seen this done but, there is a moving arm in there ...... Keep us posted.

you guys are great thanx in advance I am getting 3.96kohm

with pedal to the floor is this enuf for top speed? if i adjust for 5k i lose

low end and micro switch......

I believe I talked to you this morning. If you're getting 5k-0 with the V-glide off the car then the problem is not in the V-Glide. The linkage is either bent or worn underneath the cart. Like I mentioned on the phone, I've often seen the accelerator pedal get bent at the base and not allow for full travel of the V-glide. Something has to be bent or broken.

i believe i resolved the problem..... finally able to adjust v glide

lo end 0 (pedal up) ..... hi end 5k(pedal floored) 90% solved micro not clicking

so i will take v glide out of cart and re position micro switch

to activate at exactly .7 ohms (lo end reading) lots of wd-40 and adjusting

In a 0-5k signal 200-4700 yields the same results as 0-5000. Don't sweat the small details

I hate v glides club...... they are totally non linear


hi end jumps from 3.96k pad 7 to 5.08 pad 8....

just to let u guys know,,,, my qualifications are,,,, past cbs radio

engineer and NE PATRIOTS remote engineer for cbs radio
